From the fading light I'm falling
Where once I stood so proud
No longer are the voices calling
No longer do I yearn to know
I've spent my time in thought
And drunk my fill of silence
And left the dying ages, the rot
And putrid stench behind
I've learned, but still..
I do not know, nor can I
And now I never will
Knowledge brings no peace

Beautifully put! How I marvel at such precise awareness within here. Knowledge is ONLY a tool to be used, not an idol to be worshipped.
